Photography captures a single moment beautifully, and for many couples that's all they need. Video adds movement, voices and atmosphere. Hearing your vows again, listening to the speeches or watching your first dance unfold can bring back memories in a completely different way. Together, photography and film tell the story of your wedding in two different, equally meaningful ways.
Every wedding is different, but my highlight films are typically around 4 to 5 minutes long. Rather than including every single moment of the day, the aim is to tell the story of your wedding in a way that's emotional, natural and enjoyable to watch for years to come.
Absolutely. Your vows are one of the most personal parts of the day, so wherever possible I'll weave them naturally throughout your highlight film to help tell the story of your wedding.
If you'd also like your ceremony or speeches recorded in full, these are available as optional extras or as part of a longer feature film.
Yes. I welcome couples of all backgrounds and identities. My aim is simply to create honest, natural photographs that celebrate your relationship and your wedding day.
The music used in your wedding film must be properly licensed. If you'd like to use a specific commercial track, additional licensing fees may apply. I'll always check what's possible and let you know the cost beforehand.
If you don't have a particular song in mind, I'll carefully choose music that suits the atmosphere and style of your wedding.
Absolutely. Wedding videography can be booked on its own or alongside photography. Whether you're looking for a simple highlight film or something more comprehensive, I'll be happy to tailor the coverage to suit your plans.
Every film is edited by hand, so quality always comes before speed. Most wedding films are delivered within around four weeks, depending on the type of coverage you've chosen.
Yes. Wherever possible, I use discreet microphones to capture your vows, ceremony and speeches with clear, professional audio. Great sound is just as important as beautiful visuals and makes a huge difference to the finished film.
Not at all. My approach to filming is very similar to my photography. I'll give a little guidance when needed, but most of the day I'm quietly documenting genuine moments as they happen. The goal is for you to enjoy your wedding, not feel like you're on a film set.
