Bestwood Lodge

Bestwood Lodge is a historic country house hotel set within Bestwood Country Park on the outskirts of Nottingham, with dark timber, period architecture, staircases, balconies and plenty of character. It offers several ceremony and reception spaces, onsite accommodation and large areas of surrounding parkland, so couples get a very different feel indoors and out.

From a photography point of view, the building already gives you plenty to work with. The wood panelling, mirrors, doorways and darker interiors can create richer, more dramatic photographs, while the country park outside gives us a softer, more natural look within minutes.

It suits couples who want a venue with history and personality rather than something modern and neutral. The contrast between the interiors and the surrounding greenery means you can get a really varied set of photographs without having to leave the venue.
