Jo and Graham at Bestwood Lodge

Jo and Graham’s wedding started at Bestwood Lodge, where Jo got ready with her bridesmaids before travelling to Ramsdale Park by horse-drawn carriage with her son. That choice summed her up perfectly: she had been married before, she knew what mattered this time and she wanted the day to feel fun. Graham was waiting at the venue with his best man and, despite being the slightly quieter one of the two, the emotion definitely showed once Jo arrived.

After the ceremony we kept the couple portraits relaxed and fairly quick, using the grounds around Ramsdale Park before sending them back to their guests. Later, Jo’s sister surprised everyone with singing waiters, which turned into one of the liveliest parts of the day and gave us loads of brilliant candid moments. Jo had also mentioned that she really wanted a sunset photograph, so when the light finally appeared we took them outside and made it happen, finishing the day with one of the images that later became the final spread of their album.
